Education

Columbia Basin College

2018 - Present BA in Cyber Security

Spring of 2019 will be my last quarter to complete my bachelors. During 2013-2017 I spent most of time focusing on finishing all my electives. I decided I would finish my electives first, to simply get them out of the way. This left nothing but computer related classes from 2017 to 2018. Spring is almost here and I look forward to continuing my ever learning journey in school, life and throughout my future employment.

Columbia Basin College

2017 AA in Cyber Security

In 2017 I finished my AA in Cyber Security. I learned a lot regarding different aspects of computers. Pc Hardware, Windows & Linux (Server) operating systems, SharePoint, SQL Databases, Programming, Forensics Fundamentals and many more. I started my AA in 2013, but due to financial hardship and life scheduling; it took a bit to finish off. Nevertheless, better late than never. Consistency is the key.

Royal High School

2013 General Education

I finished my High School Diploma while I was attending Royal High School. I was there for 2 years (Junior & Senior year). Although there weren’t many resources for me to expand my knowledge about computers. I enjoyed my time at RHS, as Royal City is where I grew up. It was excited to go back to where I attended Middle and Elementary School and reunite with my friends. Good Times... Good Times...

Umatilla High School

2010-2011 General Education

In 2010 I moved from Pasco, WA to Umatilla, OR. There I attended Umatilla High School to finish my Sophomore year. I moved a lot because my mother struggled to find a steady job. Nevertheless, I finished my sophomore year there and moved back to Royal City.

Chiawana High School

2009-2010 General Education

Chiawana High School was awesome. I would of loved to be part of the first class to graduate from Chiawana High School. Unfortunately, because of events out of my control. I needed to move to Umatilla, OR and thereafter I attended Umatilla High School for 1 year.

Amazon Web Services

May 2018 – Dec 2018 Data Tech Operation Intern

During my time with AWS I learned a lot about Amazon's servers at their multiple data centers. The daily task were simple. Motherboard, CPU, Ram, Power Supply, and HDD/SSD Replacements. We regularly used software like Putty and Cygwin to SSH into different Servers/Hosts. We used Windows 10 & Linux Os’ to diagnose server issues. I also met a lot of like-minded individuals who shared their love for technology.

Amazon (PSC)

Jan 2016 – May 2018 Customer Service Associate

Working at Amazon in Kennewick was a great. My daily tasks included filing tickets for unknown issues regarding customer accounts and orders on Amazon.com, patiently walking customers through the different troubleshooting steps on their pcs (Windows & Mac OS) and their Amazon Devices. As well as troubleshooting Echo, Fire Tv, Fire Tablets, Amazon apps and generic ISP (Bandwidth) issue. Walmart

Sep 2015 – Jan 2016 Merchandise Stocker (Night-shift)

Stocking merchandise at Walmart from 10pm to 7am was quite relaxing and a workout for me. I liked how you were left alone to do your own thing in your own aisle. There was always something to do, from cleaning, organizing and removing product displays to helping customers who like to take their time shopping. I was never in a rush to do my job, but if you saw me stocking the aisles fast; I was just trying to get a workout.

The Home Depot

Jan 2015 – Sep 2015 Lumber Sales Associate

I enjoyed my time as lumber associate. It was always workout day in the lumber department and I loved it. I worked with forklifts, electric pallet jacks and reach trucks. Most importantly I worked with customer projects to help build fences, decks, and many other things regarding home improvement materials / tools. I worked at Home Depot for about a year. I left because during the winter they weren’t giving much hours (Especially in my department).
